The immigration rules are transitioning from ‘Tier 2’ to ‘Skilled Worker’ due to the changes resulting from Brexit and as of 1st January 2021, most foreign national workers including EU nationals can only be sponsored if the employer has Registered as a Sponsor with the Home Office.

 

As of 1st January 2021 the minimum rate for a Sponsored Worker will be  £25,600 per annum and upwards and the skill level for jobs will also be RQF level 3 jobs or higher (roughly equivalent to A-Levels).
